Edge & ROC

Registration for 8th and 9th Grade ROC (Rite of Confirmation) for the 2018 to 2019 school year is available now.


The Edge program is designed for grades 6 and 7, and meets about twice a month for catechesis (Sundays at Saint Mary's Parish Center). There are nine Edge sessions for the 2018 - 2019 school year. Edge students are strongly encouraged to attend Life Teen Mass at Saint Mary's on Sundays at 6 p.m. In addition to Edge sessions and Life Teen Mass, Edge students are also invited to any of the Middle School Life Teen events run throughout the year. This includes Middle School Homework Days on Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Middle School Pizza and Prayer, which is held once each month. The ROC, or Rite of Confirmation, program is for grades 8 and 9, with the aim of preparing teens for Confirmation in the fall of grade 10. ROC classes usually meet once per month during the school year at Saint Mary's Parish Center, and conclude with Life Teen Mass at 6 p.m. There are a total of FIVE 8th Grade ROC sessions and FIVE 9th Grade ROC sessions throughout the year. ROC students are invited to any of our High School Life Teen events. All events can be found on the Life Teen calendar.
