Welcome to Daily Bread: Catholic Food for Thought every Monday through Friday! We have spent a bunch of time developing ideas and posts for this section of the website, and we are proud to debut them this week. Each weekday we will present a new and unique post designed to spur your thought and keep your mind and soul active. Each weekday will have a theme, and we will be introducing them this week. The real posts will begin Monday, September 8 ^th, but be sure to come back each day this week to learn what each weekday?s theme will be.

Monday Morning Bible Breakdown!

Ever wish you knew more about the Sacred Scripture that informs our faith and helps guide the Magisterium? Then Monday is your day! Each Monday we will investigate one of the scripture passages from the previous day?s Mass readings. Each Monday post will help you to have a deeper understanding of the scripture. We will examine such questions as who wrote it, why, what it means, what sort of things were going on when it was written, as well as examining the themes, symbols, and important characters. Monday Morning Bible Breakdown will be a great opportunity to learn about the scripture in a fun and easy way!
