M: Hello? I haven’t posted on Daily Bread since Tuesday, November 25.
T: I noticed that, but I didn’t miss you.
M: Oh, that’s real nice. You’re such a good brother.
T: Mike, I didn’t miss you because I’ve seen you literally every day since then. Wednesday was middle school homework day, Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving together, Friday we got ready for retreat, Saturday and Sunday we were on retreat all day, and Monday was Pizza and Prayer.
M: What about yesterday?
T: What about it?
M: You didn’t see me yesterday.
T: So what?
M: So did you miss me? You know, yesterday?
T: Sure, Mike. I was all torn up about it. For a long time I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it through my day but then a mentor gave me some words of wisdom and I pushed through.
M: Your sarcasm did not go unnoticed.
T: Good.
M: Anyway, it was nice to have a little Thanksgiving break, but it’s great to be back.
T: I agree. What have you got for us this week?
M: Well, you know how we just got back from retreat?
T: I sure do.
M: Remember how you and I had such a hard time finding a version of “Days of Elijah” that sounded upbeat enough for retreat?
T: I sure do.
M: So you remember how we asked the Life Teen band to record it for us so that we would have a rocking version of it?
T: I sure do.
M: And you remember they did?
T: Just so you know, you’re making me want to not see you again right now.
M: Duly noted. This week’s link isn’t really a link, it’s a download.
T: Sweet! I was just starting to get it out of my head! Now everyone can put it on their phones and iPods and stuff by using a computer, "right clicking" on the link, and then selecting "Save target as..." or "Save Link as..."
M: They sure can!
T: I’m actually kind of glad that I stuck around until the end of this now.
